As we all know in developing countries such as India there is food wastage happening and lot of people in need of food.
So Team Hunger Heros has created a Salesforce Solution so that volunteers, ngo are at a place so as to distribute food to needy people.
With the use of Salesforce, we can have multiple Stakeholders on a single platform.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The SFDC Hunger Heros salesforce app provides a centralized platform to collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as NGO’s, Food Sponsors (i.e. restaurants, marriage /party halls, etc. ) to streamline the food distribution operations smoothly.
IDEA BEHIND THIS TOPIC
As everyone knows, there is a lot of food insecurity and food waste in developing nations like India. Thus, Team Hunger Heroes has developed a Salesforce solution to enable volunteers and nonprofit organizations to be present in order to provide food to those in need.
END-USER FUNCTIONALITIES
- User can create and edit different NGO’s.
- Users can register as a volunteer on the portal.
- Volunteers Or Ngo in-charge can create and edit different venue.
- Volunteers can log their task details on the portal.
- Volunteers can create and edit different drop off points.
- Administrator can log various activities for internal use.
- Administrator can create and edit different reports and dashboards.
- Volunteers Or Ngo in-charge can access and subscribe to report and dashboards.
MODULE 1:- DATA MODEL FOR THE PROJECT
This module will focus on the Data Model of the Project and involves a detailed description of all the entities involved in the project.
- NGO’s:- Custom Salesforce Object to be used to store NGO details.
- Venues:- Custom salesforce object to be used to store information about food sponsors such as restaurants, party hall, marriage halls, Food courts, etc.
- Volunteers:- standard salesforce component which will be used to register volunteers on the portal (contact).
- Tasks:- Custom Salesforce Object to be used to log various activities perform by volunteers.
- Drop-Off Points:- Custom Salesforce Object to be used to store different localities and landmarks which are potential targets for food distribution.
- Execution Details:-Custom Salesforce Object to be used to log various task executed by volunteers for internal use.
MODULE 2:- PROCESS AUTOMATION
1.Screen Flow(Log an execution record)
Screen flow used to create execution record log directly from home page.
2. Record Triggered Flow (Email Alert for new volunteer registration)
This flow will generate an email alert whenever a new volunteer is registers.

- The Administrator Will Create Users For Different Stakeholders Involved.
- Once Log In Is Successful We Can Launch The Application Through App Launcher.

- The NGO’s Or Volunteers Will Add Different Venue Points.
- NGO’s Or Volunteers Log Different Activities In Task Object.
- Volunteers Can Add Various Drop-Off Points.
- Volunteer Can Register Themselves On The Portal.
